MISSION:
The Worship Committee exists to glorify God by fostering meaningful, Spirit-led worship experiences that inspire, unite, and deepen the faith of our congregation.
Goals:
- Enhance Worship Quality: Ensure each service is spiritually enriching, well-organized, and inclusive.
- Encourage Participation: Involve a diverse range of voices and talents from the congregation and community.
- Support Worship Leaders: Provide resources, encouragement, and logistical support to pastors, musicians, and volunteers.
What we do:
- Participate in planning and coordinating weekly worship services and special events (e.g., Advent, Easter, community services).
- Collaborate with pastors, musicians, and lay leaders to design meaningful worship experiences.
- Support volunteers for scripture reading, music, prayer, communion, ushers and other worship roles.
- Decorate and prepare the worship space in alignment with the liturgical calendar.

Responsibilities and time commitments may vary depending on the area each member supports.
Music:
Chancel Choir
- Season: Late August – May
- Commitment: Weekly rehearsals on Thursday evenings and participation in the Sunday morning service.
Adult Bell Choir
- Season: Late August – May
- Commitment: Weekly rehearsals on Thursday evenings and participation in specific Sunday services as scheduled.
Youth Bell Choir
- Season & Schedule: Late August – May
- Commitment: Will be based on youth availability and ministry needs.
Children’s Choir
- Season & Schedule: Late August – May
- Commitment: Will be coordinated with children’s ministry and family schedules.
Praise Band
- Season: Year-round
- Commitment: Weekly rehearsals on Wednesday evening and participation in the Sunday morning service.
Artist Series
Worship Service Volunteers
Ushers
- Season: Year-round
- Commitment: Typically serve for one month at a time on a rotating basis during specific services.
Communion Stewards
- Season: Year-round
- Commitment: Typically serve for one month at a time on a rotating basis the first Sunday of the month.
Scripture readers
- Season:Year-round
- Commitment: Scripture readers serve during Sunday worship services on a rotating basis.
- Coordination: The Scripture Reader Chair maintains the reading schedule, recruits volunteers, and distributes the weekly scripture passages in advance to ensure readers are prepared and comfortable.

Advent Season
- Season: November – January
- Commitment:
- Recruit volunteers to help decorate the church for the season
- Recruit families to light the advent wreath at each service throughout the season.
- Organize volunteers to pack away the greens after the 1st Sunday in January.

Join This Ministry
Committee members are asked to commit 60–90 minutes each month for regular meetings. These meetings are used for worship planning, coordination, and discussion of upcoming services and events.
